About
The Liston Group.
The Firm
The Liston Group is the holding company for a portfolio of software products and services built around legal system inefficiencies. Founded and operated by Luke Liston, the firm operates without outside capital or a growth-at-all-costs mandate.
Every product is designed to be profitable on its own terms, with a market the statute itself defines. We add new products only when the prior one is boring.

Education
The University of Texas at Austin
Luke Liston is a student at The University of Texas at Austin, where he studies Government with a minor in Entrepreneurship. He is also the founder of The Liston Group.
Before building software, he spent time inside legal institutions. At Beys Liston & Mobargha LLP — a boutique commercial litigation firm in New York — he interned as a paralegal on $100M+ real estate transactions and disputes, drafting memoranda used directly by partners in $60M+ reimbursement litigation. Before that, he interned at the Legal Aid Society, the nation's largest nonprofit legal organization, screening court appearances and supporting attorneys in family court across the Bronx.
He also interned at Mom's First, the nonprofit founded by Reshma Saujani of Girls Who Code, working directly with the founder on family leave policy and running social media campaigns that reached over two million people.
Luke also conducted independent research with the Smithsonian Institution and the National Museum of African American History and Culture.
How We Operate
Statute-first
Every product starts with a legal inefficiency. If the gap isn't in the law, we're not interested.
Profitable by design
We don't build moonshots. We build businesses that pay for themselves — then grow.
Ruthlessly scoped
Do one thing. Do it better than anyone. Add the second thing only when the first is boring.
